Our Acceleration Programme
Our programme comprises of 6 weeks of lectures on the most crucial topics for startups - legal, marketing, tokenomics, fundraising, and launching - finishing with a pitch competition in Token2049 in front of all our venture partners.
Week 1: Introductions
The first week will be for introductions. There will be an onboarding call to welcome everyone to the programme, explanation of the groups and structure, and a review of the accelerators’ recommended documents.
Also, this week will start with a lecture on business principles, teaching first time founders some lessons from exited founders.
Week 2: Chain & Legal:
The second week will contain lectures that explore the basics of the project, from the technical to the legal. We will have experts join to discuss the best chain to launch on, detailing pros and cons, explaining grant programmes and key insights.
This will be followed by a lecture on documentation (pitch decks, investor docs, whitepapers) to ensure you create the best possible presentation of your company.
Lastly, the legal side, giving you best insights into entity incorporation and different legal structures.
Week 3: Marketing
The third week will focus on one of the most important elements in business - marketing. There are many different topics to cover and we kickstart the week with a lecture on branding and market positioning: the foundation on which your company image stands.
Then we dive deep into marketing strategies, including PR, ads, community growth, and events, given by industry experts.
This is arguably the most crucial week, as an unknown business is a dead business.
Week 4: Tokenomics
The fourth week will cover everything you need to know about your token economics. We will cover all topics, from the a→z of designing your token utilities, to building your own models.
We will also run you through our tokenomics template and other key resources to learn.
Week 5: Fundraising
The fifth week will be on everyone’s favourite topic: fundraising. The lectures will offer actionable strategies for the most dreaded topics of investor outreach and follow up; picking the right VCs, drafting the correct messages, managing the relationship after the call, ensuring the documentation is well made.
This week will also have 1-2-1 pitch practice with each project, allowing all founders to get some needed practice in.
Week 6: Token Launch
The sixth and final lecture week will go over the final stages of token launching, covering the crucial topics of launchpads, centralised exchanges, and market making. This is the stage where most founders fail and without realising sign off their tokens death warrant.
Our lectures and experts will discuss strategies for selecting your launch partners, key knowledge of how to negotiate and what deals to make, and the potential risks.
Week 7: Final Practice
The final week will contain constant 1-2-1 calls with every project to practice pitching and for getting any additional required assistance.
Whilst we will do this throughout, this week will have calls with every project to ensure everyone feels accelerated.
