The Simplicity team keeps growing — not in size, but in reach.
Alex Fatuliaj, our Co-Founder and COO, has joined the Techstars Web3 Accelerator as a tokenomics mentor, supporting founders building the next wave of decentralized applications and tokenized systems.
Techstars is one of the most respected names in the startup world. Their network spans over 3,100 mentors, $126B in combined portfolio value, and thousands of companies backed across verticals.
The Web3 Accelerator focuses specifically on projects working to onboard the first billion users into the decentralized internet. From infrastructure and interoperability to incentive layers and custom token economies, the program brings serious builders into a three-month sprint toward traction and scalability.
Alex will work closely with founders across this cohort, helping them:
- Simplify complex token and economic systems
- Align token incentives with real user behavior
- Build models designed for long-term growth and resilience
- Help projects avoid common structural pitfalls in token design
At Simplicity, Alex has led the design and restructuring of dozens of token economies, many of which have gone on to raise capital, launch successfully, and retain real user bases. He’s known for cutting through theory and helping projects focus on what matters, making sure their token has a reason to exist and a structure that supports it.
The accelerator is fast-paced and hands-on, which fits Alex’s approach. His sessions will help teams pressure-test assumptions, rethink emissions and utility, and design around value retention from day one. For founders in the program, it’s a rare opportunity to get deep, practical feedback on the part of the project that’s usually the hardest to get right.
This is what mentorship is supposed to look like:
Real insight from someone who’s done the work, seen the failures, and knows how to build systems that last.
We’re proud to see Alex sharing that knowledge with the next generation of Web3 builders. Techstars startups are in good hands!
